Ms. Hong and Mrs. Hollman led the school in recognizing that we, in Canada, use 15 billion plastic bags a year and a bag takes 1000 years to break down, to poisonous chemicals. We are all encouraged to use recyclable cloth bags. Please find some photos attached of the Spirit Assembly! We collected these bags in 3 days.
