The goal of the district and all of us at Alwin Holland is to have full-time, in-person schooling.

In the event that we have a significant number of staff away due to COVID and our contingency plans cannot cover the absences, the Superintendent (in consultation with school admin and HR) may decide to put our school on a ‘Functional Closure.’ 

A functional closure may range between 5 and 8 days in length, depending on availability of staff. During the functional closure, we will move to remote learning. More details (timelines, activities, resources, etc.) will be provided should this occur.

Should we be in this situation, we will inform our AH school community as soon as possible by:
– Posting the information on our website (www.holland.prn.bc.ca) and Facebook page
– Sending a system email to all parents/guardians listed as the primary and secondary contacts
