On your November calendar we missed the following:
Scholastic Book Fair (Modified)
– Tuesday, November 16th – classes will view the books and other items.
– Tuesday, November 23rd – students can make purchases.
Because of the pandemic, only students will be permitted to browse and make purchases this year.
Hopefully we can have the full Book Fair next year.

Parking
When you are parking on the street for drop off or pick up, please do not block any driveways. Neighbours in the area may contact the police, and you make get a ticket or have your vehicle towed. Please do not park in the bus lane. We may have very few bus students, but the busses still need to access the bus lane. Staff park in the lot between the library and gym; however, there are a lot of parking spaces north of the gym. With the portables gone, it is easy to access the entire playground from there.

Skates & Skate Sharpening
We have a lot of dull skates and skating season is coming soon. Does anyone have access to or know where we can get all of our skates sharpened? As well, if you have skates that are in good condition, but you no longer need them, we would be happy to use them for skating. You can bring them to the school office.

Temperature
We use -20 Celsius (including wind chill) to determine if we have an inside day. Make sure your child has boots and a winter jacket, as well as something to keep their hands and head warm. Snow pants are recommended as well.
