Students off to District Speech Contest
We would like to wish Venice Aspi, Travis English, and Braxton McCoy, good luck at the district speech contest next Thursday. We were treated to 15 excellent speeches at our school level and I know that our judges had some really tough choices to make because of it.

Sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, and perseverance lead to an outstanding performance on Thursday on Friday at the District Badminton tournament for our Alwin Holland athletes! We had numerous winners in singles and doubles and as a team we won.

Our Badminton team will be heading to NPSS after school on Thursday and all day on Friday to compete in the district tournament. Thank you to Mr. Mackay and Ms. MacDonald for all of their hard work in coaching this team.
Winter, winter, winter
As the weather continues to challenge us, please help your child to dress appropriately for the weather with coats, toques, mitts, and boots. As well, it is helpful to send a change of clothes in their back pack in case of a slip or fall.
Paper Airplane Toss for Intermediate, Tuesday, April 18th
We will have a paper airplane toss on Tuesday, April 18th for any intermediate student that wishes to participate.
