The 60 Minute Kids Challenge has begun with Drs visiting and discussing with our Gr.4/5/6s the benefits and the goals of the challenge. This BCMA (British Columbia Medical Association) initiative is to try and encourage students and adults alike to participate in active exercise for at least 1 hour each day.

During the month of September, we, at Alwin Holland, have been celebrating unity and belonging. At the assembly this morning, we recognized several student who went ‘over and above’ to make others feel like they belong and are part of our Alwin Holland community.

Our annual pancake breakfast will be this Friday, September 13th. Come with you child and meet his/her new teacher. We will start feeding at 8 AM.
