On Friday, June 10th, Mrs. Schneider’s and Mrs. Lirette’s students presented the “The Three Piggy Opera” to parents and other family members.  The performance was an amazing display of creativity, talent and energy!  Hats off to both teachers and their students for a job well done!!!  For more on this event,

Alwin Holland recently added a Lilac bush to its landscape for its efforts during “Earth Day” Week.  Students from the Environmental Club were excited to plant the tree which now resides in the front of the school.  (In the picture: Cody Bird and Catherin Ross)

Recently, Alwin Holland was the recipient of over 2000 cans and bottles.  The donor, the local OSB plant coutesy of a school parent–Mr. Harman!  The donations will be used for school activities.

All library books are due on Friday, June 18th.  Students and parents are asked to look around the house for any books that might be lonely for their shelf in the library.  Thanks.

On Friday, June 18th, the primary students will be having their “Fun Day” starting at 9am.  The events will include; face painting, a variety of fun stations with activities, a BBQ provided by our PAC from 11:45-1:00,

On Tuesday, June 15th, there will be a bike rodeo for students in grade 1-3.  Students will be met by Constable Rondeau from the Fort St. John RCMP, who will put them through an obstacle course following a bike inspection.  Those students who bring their bikes will be allowed to lock them to the fence if there is not enough room in the bike racks.
