Many parents are wondering who their child’s teacher will be. Because we typically have a lot of movement, we have grade grouping days so that we don’t have to change classes later on and disappoint or confuse the children.

Masks for Grades 4 to 12
Students in Grades 4 – 12 are required to wear a mask. Extra masks are available at the office.
The district has posted the SD60 Communicable Disease Prevention Plan. Please familiarize yourself with this plan. It contains a great deal of information,

Tomorrow morning, staff will meet students on the field. Students find their teacher from last year.

Summer Break Is Coming to an End
With the recent announcement regarding protocols and expectations around the COVID pandemic and K-12 public schools, we will need to finalize start-up procedures. Watch here and/or our Facebook page (Alwin Holland Elementary) for updates regarding September start-up.
Summer Heggerty Reading Program
Heggerty has come out with a FREE summer program for Pre-K, K and grade one. There are 6 weekly lessons FREE to download and some lesson videos for the kids to follow along with as well.
Updated Health and Safety Guidelines – Masks for Grade 4-6
Health and Safety guidelines have changed. Starting next week, we will begin our implementation of masks for Grades 4-6. April 6th – 9th will be a week of transition and teaching around mask wearing for these students.
