Professional Development Day, Friday, Sept. 25th
Just a reminder that next Friday, September 25th is a professional development day for all staff at Alwin Holland. There will not be classes that day.
Cross Country Running Starts Wednesday!
Our cross country running team will attend their first run at Lonewolf on Wednesday, September 23rd at 1:00pm.

Soccer Begins!
Our ‘A’ Soccer team will play their first games at Alwin Holland on Tuesday, September 22nd.
Our ‘B’ Soccer team will play their first games on Thursday, September 24th at Dr. Kearney.
Games begin at 3:15pm and should end around 4:45pm as they will play 2 games each week.
Open House Wednesday, September 23rd
You are invited to come and meet your child’s teacher and see the classroom next Wednesday, September 23rd from 6:00-7:30pm.
Dots, Dots, Dots!
International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity, courage and collaboration, began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom toPeter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot on September 15, 2009.
The Dot is the story of a caring teacher who dares a doubting student to trust in her own abilities by being brave enough to “make her markâ€.
