July in January – or in Hawaii – yes it might be warm in July and we will pretend it is warm here at school. Parents please remember that it is still winter outside and children will need their snow gear.

Family Literacy Day is coming up.  At our school, we will be celebrating Family Literacy Day on Thursday Jan 26th by hosting a family-invited READ & FEED afternoon.  The purpose of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in literacy-related activities as a family. 

2023 Alwin Holland Reading Challenge
READING CHALLENGE DATES: Wednesday, January 4th until Monday, January 23th.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:  Read!  Use the attached recording sheet to write down how many minutes your child reads (or listens to reading) at home.
