Family Literacy Day is coming up.  At our school, we will be celebrating Family Literacy Day on Thursday Jan 26th by hosting a family-invited READ & FEED afternoon.  The purpose of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in literacy-related activities as a family. 

2023 Alwin Holland Reading Challenge
READING CHALLENGE DATES: Wednesday, January 4th until Monday, January 23th.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:  Read!  Use the attached recording sheet to write down how many minutes your child reads (or listens to reading) at home. 

We want to welcome back to school all our wonderful Alwin Holland students. We look forward to having a great week together.

We are hoping the weather will warm up a bit so we can start enjoying some outside time next week.

December 12th –

Friday at lunch is the last chance for students to buy Candy grams for 25 cents. All proceeds go to the SPCA.
